Azmi

Azmi is a Yoga Philosophy, Meditation, and Multi-Style Asana teacher with over a decade of dedicated practice. Rooted in traditional study and spiritual discipline, his teachings blend philosophy, movement, and mindfulness. Drawing from Vinyasa, Hatha, and Kundalini, Azmi guides students toward inner stillness, balance, and self-awareness through a grounded and heart-centered approach.

His Story

Azmi is a Yoga Philosophy, Meditation, and Multi-Style Asana & Kriya Teacher with more than a decade of dedicated practice and teaching experience. His journey began in 2012 when he met a Balinese spiritual master and immersed himself in study at an ashram for two transformative years.

 

During this time, he practiced Number Meditation and delved deeply into Vedic philosophy, using yoga asana to strengthen both body and mind in service of meditation. His pursuit of understanding led him to Hindu Dharma University in Bali, where he majored in Yoga and Health, and continued through multiple Yoga Alliance–certified teacher trainings.

 

Since 2014, Azmi has been sharing his knowledge through classes, workshops, and trainings. His teaching integrates Ashtanga, Vinyasa, Hatha, Yin, and Kundalini, offering a holistic approach that unites movement, breath, and awareness. Rooted in tradition yet accessible to all, Azmi guides his students toward stillness, self-realization, and balance between the physical and spiritual dimensions of yoga.
